It was exciting making this record of my favorite Sesame Street songs. I chose these
songs not only for your children, but for you parents who grew up watching Sesame Street.
Hopefully, you will think back to your early years and have some fun sharing those
memories with your child. When you hear these fresh, new arrangements of your old favorites, in the styles of Jazz, Pop, Latin and Motown, perhaps they will inspire you to pick up your child, dance around the room, and even join in a lullaby that says, "I love you-good night." Jim Henson and Joe Raposo were warm, sensitive and wonderfully talented people. They were my friends and I had the privilege of working with them for many years. Their brilliant creativity with music and muppetry will continue to delight children throughout the world forever. To them, I dedicate this album. -Bob McGrath |
