Research shows that singing and playing rhythmic
games with your baby develops: Language, concentration, listening skills, emotional expressions, self
confidence and, discipline. In fact there is likely no other natural
activity that will benefit your baby’ physical, intellectual and
emotional growth more than the kind of activities and songs on this
recording. From the moment of birth, every child enjoys music and
vocalizing back.
THE BABY RECORD provides parents and care givers with
the raw materials to stimulate all these activities. Sung by Sesame
Street’s Bob McGrath and early childhood music educator Katharine Smithrim,
THE BABY RECORD includes everything from bouncy rhymes to
lullabies. The instructions are clear and the songs are sung simply,
without accompaniment. Put the recording on, put the baby on your knee
and off you go!
